Nola Radel
Psychotherapist
Zahli Whitman

Nola Radel is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Family Therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents through life’s challenges.

Nola provides counselling, psychotherapy and practical support for people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns and major life transitions. She is passionate about helping people gain insight, strengthen relationships, build resilience and create meaningful change in their lives.

With a warm, compassionate and person-centred approach, Nola draws on evidence-based, trauma-informed and strengths-focused practices to tailor support to each individual’s unique circumstances. She believes that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and empowered to move forward.

In addition to therapeutic counselling services, Nola provides NDIS psychosocial support, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services and WorkCover support. She works collaboratively with individuals, families, employers, health professionals and support networks to achieve positive outcomes and improve overall wellbeing.

Nola is committed to creating a safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment where people can explore challenges, develop practical strategies and work towards their personal goals with confidence.

Social Worker

Zahli Whitman is a qualified Social Worker who is passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges with compassion, respect and practical guidance.

Zahli works with adults experiencing mental health challenges, alcohol and other drug concerns, domestic and family violence, grief and loss, psychosocial disability and complex life circumstances. She is committed to helping people build confidence, strengthen wellbeing and access the supports they need to achieve meaningful and lasting change.

Drawing on experience across health and community settings, Zahli provides person-centred support tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths and circumstances. Her approach is warm, collaborative and focused on creating a safe, non-judgemental environment where people feel heard, understood and supported.

Through CQ Centre for Change, Zahli provides psychosocial support, NDIS capacity building, advocacy, care coordination and practical assistance to help individuals navigate challenges, build independence and improve their quality of life.

Zahli holds a Bachelor of Social Work and is currently undertaking a Master of Mental Health through Griffith University.

We understand that some clients may prefer the comfort of their own home. We offer flexible home visit services across the surrounding areas of Central Queensland on request.

Cancellation Policy

Referrals and appointments are subject to a 24-hour cancellation notice. Failure to provide notice may result in a service fee being applied.

We are registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and adhere to strict professional standards for all our clinicians.
